
Attorney Elizabeth Schuster has grown up in Madison, Wisconsin. She attended Madison West High School and went on to graduate from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, with a degree in English. She completed her first year of Law School at Denver University and then transferred to Marquette University where she received her law degree in May of 2007.
Attorney Schuster’s practice focuses on family law, including areas of domestic violence, child abuse, divorce, child custody and placement, and child support litigation.
Attorney Schuster has also been appointed by the court to act as Guardian ad Litem, representing children’s best interest in custody and placement disputes, child abuse restraining orders and adoptions. She has received her Guardian ad Litem certification and interned with the Milwaukee Legal Aide Society, Guardian ad Litem division in Milwaukee County Children’s Court. She also received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her excellent achievement in her study of the role of Guardian ad Litem. She was recently a presenter at the State Bar of Wisconsin 2009 Guardian ad Litem training seminar.
Elizabeth’s approach to the practice of family law is first and foremost child based. She believes children’s best interests should always take priority in any and all proceedings.
